Pegas Nonwovens shows profit of EUR 9.4 mln in H1

PRAGUE (CIA) – Pegas Nonwovens generated total income in the amount of EUR 68.8 mln (over CZK 1.7 bln) in the first half of this year. This represents a growth by 8.9% y/y. The net profit of the company decreased 44.1% y/y to EUR 9.4 mln. In the second quarter of this year total income of the company increased 25% y/y to EUR 34.4 mln.

The company plans to pay out a dividend in the amount of EUR 0.95/share at the end of September. The dividend payment will likely reach EUR 8.8 mln, according to information provided by Frantisek Rezac, the CEO and a member of the board of directors of Pegas Nonwovens.
