PRAGUE (ČIA) - In 2011 Q2, the current account of the balance of payments showed a deficit of CZK 49.8 bln. The financial account recorded a net inflow of funds from abroad of CZK 73.1 bln. Czech National Bank’s international reserves increased by CZK 2.1 bln. According to a report made public by the central bank, the current account deficit increased to 3.5% of GDP (on an annual basis), owing mainly to growth in the income deficit. The goods and services surplus amounted to 3.4% of GDP.
