PRAGUE (ČIA) - On Thursday, September 8 the government of the Czech Republic approved the pilot programme for the provision of loans from the State Fund for the Housing Development (SFRB) for the support of the rental apartment construction. The first step based on recently approved Housing Concept of the Czech Republic until 2020 will be thus launched this year. The programme copes with CZK 120 mln for first applicants. According to Czech Minister for Regional Development Kamil Jankovský, the ministry thus intends to initiate the construction of rental apartments primarily for seniors, disabled people and people from low-income groups.
