PRAGUE (ČIA) – In July, gas consumption in the Czech Republic increased 9.21% against July 2010 to 295.3 mln m3. Wholesale customers saw a 9.9% rise in consumption to 205.9 mln m3 and households reported an 18.61% year-on-year increase to 42.7 mln m3. Mid-sized customers consumed 21.2 mln m3 in July (against 21.6 mln m3 last year); retail customers hit 18.3 mln m3 (19.5 mln m3 in July 2010). This information has been published by the Energy Regulatory Office (ERÚ).
