PRAGUE (ČIA) – Prices of agricultural producers fell in December 0.3% from November. Prices of industrial producers increased 0.1% and prices of market services declined 0.3%. Prices of construction work stagnated, according to the figures published by the Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ). Prices of industrial producers have confirmed the weakening inflation pressures, said GE Money Bank’s analyst Petr Gapka. The inflation pressures were compensated with the weaker koruna, but it did not outbalance the generally weak demand caused by the economic slowdown.
