PRAGUE (ČIA) – A total of 12,205 new companies were established in the Czech Republic in H1 2011, down 3.5% y/y. The data stem from the databases and calculations of the Czech Capital Information Agency (ČEKIA). The interest in business is being slowed down by unstable legislative environment, permanent government crisis, corruption scandals and debt problems in the world. The largest portion of the companies, 41%, was established in Prague.
