PRAGUE (ČIA) – The highest portion of Czech households – approximately 44% - shop in hypermarkets. The second most frequent shopping point for food and dry goods is discount stores, with a share of 21%. Supermarkets ranked third with a share of 18%, up 3% y/y. The information was provided to ČIA by Incoma GfK’s Senior Project Manager Pavel Cabal.
