PRAGUE (CIA) – Austria is this year’s official partner country of the International Engineering Fair (IEF) in Brno, which will take place between September 13 and September 17. As Nikolaus Seiwald, commercial councillor of the Austrian Embassy to the Czech Republic, said at a press conference, the IEF is one of the most important opportunities for Austria for building and strengthening bilateral business relations in the engineering sector. By means of official partnership, Austria thus has a chance of permanently applying innovations in this area in the Czech Republic.

As part of the partnership, the department of commerce of the Austrian embassy is organising an official exposition of Austrian companies as well as a meeting between Czech and Austrian companies - Austrian showcase. It focuses on technologies for the environment.
